Scientific Name: Dypsis lutescens
Type of Plant: Palm
Description: Fast growing palm with long graceful fronds. Tends to grow in clumps. Can be cultivated as a shrub, hedge or specimen plant.
Height: 20’+
Width: 5'-10'
Blooming: Shrub-like plant will produce small yellowish white flowers in spring and summer and forms small orange-yellow fruits.
Fruit:
Small orange-yellow fruits.
Climate Requirements: Drought tolerant,
COLD-SENSITIVE.
Care Requirements:

Very low maintenance. Likes moist, but well-drained soil.

Thrives in a variety of light conditions, but prefers bright, indirect light;

Does not need pruning, but might consider thinning out clumps.

Special Needs: Needs to be fertilized 1-2 during growing season;
Special Uses/Attributes:

A wonderful plant to grow both indoors and outdoors.
Prized for its air-purifying qualities and tolerance to low light environments.

Makes an excellent natural "privacy fence" outdoors.
