Scientific Name: Callistemon Viminalis
Type of Plant: Shrub or tree
Description: Large shrub or a weeping tree with long linear green leaves and blooms a cylindrical, brush shaped red flower that resembles a bottle brush.
Height: up to 20’
 Width: 20'
Blooming: Spring and fall
Fruit:
 Flowers grow into woody capsules.
Climate Requirements: Grows best in full sun and in a warm climate. Water frequently until established.
Care Requirements: Can be pruned to maintain shrub shape or in a standard weeping (tree) form.
Special Needs: None
Special Uses/Attributes: The intrigue of the beautiful red “bottlebrush” bloom is always a great characteristic to have in one’s garden or landscaping.

FYI: Attracts hummingbirds and is very low maintenance.
