 Common Name: Sea Green Juniper
Scientific Name: Juniperus Chinensis ‘Sea Green’
Type of Plant: Shrub
Description: Compact upright growing evergreen shrub with dark green, arching foliage.
Height: 4-6’
 Width: 6-8'
Blooming: No
Fruit:
 Berry-like cones on older specimens
Climate Requirements: Heat tolerant, cold tolerant and drought tolerant
once established. Prefers full sun.
Care Requirements: Very low maintenance, no pruning necessary, but likes
well drained soil.
Special Needs: None
Special Uses/Attributes: Heavily used especially commercially as accents and border plants as it is so tolerant of different soils and weather conditions.
Florida Native: No
FYI: Sea Green Juniper is often called Chinese Juniper as it is native to China.
