Description: Fast growing broadleaf evergreen pyramidal shaped tree that yields an abundance of red berries. Leaves are glossy, light green and variably spiny.

Climate Requirements: Heat tolerant, cold tolerant and drought tolerant
once established. Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Care Requirements: Low maintenance with occasional pruning to maintain pyramidal shape. Leaves sometimes turn yellow due to weight of berries, simply fertilize.

Special Uses/Attributes: Makes a very attractive screen or hedge or solo as an accent tree.

FYI: Berries attract birds in late winter.
